THE Sportsbet Darwin Turf Club Gala Ball is moving back to Little Mindil Beach after the event sold out in record time and the waiting list ballooned past 250.
DTC chairman Brett Dixon told the NT News the response to this year’s ball had been like never before.
The ball was to be held at the turf club after its success last year, but due to sheer weight of numbers and a flood of locals wanting to buy tickets, the DTC board decided to make the shift.
