Be trackside this Saturday 3 August for bet365 Palmerston Sprint race day – Day 7 of the Great Northern Darwin Cup Carnival, kicking off the biggest long weekend in the Top End!

The $135,000 bet365 Palmerston Sprint is the Territory’s premier sprint race and never fails to excite, with the Territory’s fastest horses looking to hold out interstate raiders for supreme honours.

The Atrium Marquee and Member’s Lawn return to complement hospitality options in the Ted Bailey Grandstand and Public Grandstand.

On the track, local trainer Gary Clarke has had a good associated with the race, training 2022 winner Syncline, as well as Enigman (2020), Captain Punch (2019 & 2018) and Handsome Tycoon (2016).

General Admission tickets will be available to purchase at the gate.

What To Wear

Entry to general admission areas of the race course requires guests to be neatly dressed. Footwear and a shirt must be worn at all times. Members’ dress standards apply to the Ted Bailey Grandstand and Sid Parker Verandah/Members Club House.

Transport

The racecourse is approximately a seven minute drive from the CBD. There are a number of transport options available to our valued patrons.

Where To Eat

There is an array of dining options at the Dining Turf Club, from a snack bar menu in the Ted Bailey Grandstand to a three-course lunch on our feature race days.
