Master trainer Gary Clarke and his No.1 stable rider Jarrod Todd fittingly combined with Shakattak to win the last race of the 2023-24 racing season, the $40,000 Dabble Cup feature event on day six of the Great Northern Darwin Cup Carnival at Fannie Bay on Wednesday.

In the Process, the dynamic duo collected their 12th and fifth consecutive trainer and jockey premierships respectively, Clarke taking his first title way back in 2013 while Todd was a first time winner in 2020. With a double on Wednesday, Clarke’s To End season tally reached 67 wins, while Todd, with his only winner on the program, finished on a round 60 for the season.
