Parking
Darwin Turf Club provides parking during standard race meetings & Carnival. We recommend our members and the public utilise public transport during the Great Northern Darwin Cup Carnival to alleviate the traffic congestion. Should you need to park your car at the track over the Great Northern Darwin Cup Carnival, secure overnight parking is provided thanks to MACC.
The patron underpass will allow easy access between Centrefield and the outside of the track for foot traffic. Cars left in centrefield overnight may be collected the following day between 9.30am – 1.00pm ONLY.
Normal Race Day Parking
The main entrance accessible off Dick Ward Drive in Fannie Bay boasts ample parking for Members and Non Members on our normal and feature racedays.
Great Northern Darwin Cup Carnival Parking
Due to the volume of cars over this period, the Darwin Turf Club makes the inside of the track (centrefield) available for public parking on bet365 Palmerston Sprint Day and Great Northern Darwin Cup Day.
Access via Playford or Douglas Street and follow the signs to access the car park entry.
Member’s Parking (Entry via Gate 2, 3*)
The carpark accessed off Dick Ward Drive is reserved for Darwin Turf Club Members only and cars not displaying the Darwin Turf Club Member car park pass will be turned away.
*Gate 3 (Located next to Admin building) Open for Darwin Cup Weekend only
General Public Drop-Off (Gate 1)
All public and taxi drop-off is accessed off Dick Ward Drive.
General Public Parking (Centrefield Gate)
All General Public Parking is on the inside of the track (Centrefield) and is access via Playford or Douglas Streets.
Centrefield Carpark opening and closing times (Gate 4)
Access will be restricted between races to enter and exit the centrefield car park.
