Enjoy Ladbrokes Cox Plate Race Day at the Darwin Turf Club where local racing action features alongside Australia’s richest weight-for-age race. A highlight on the Australian racing calendar, the Ladbrokes Cox Plate always attracts the best horses in the land – not to mention the overseas raiders who once again will attempt to take home the spoils.

Join us at the Darwin Turf Club for an afternoon of thrilling racing!

Make a booking in the Ted Bailey Grandstand for a snack bar menu or general admission with ice-cold tab beer in the New Public Stand.

Gates open at 1pm with tickets available to purchase at the gate.

GA Adults $7 | GA Concession $5 | Children u/12 are free

What To Wear

Entry to general admission areas of the race course requires guests to be neatly dressed. Footwear and a shirt must be worn at all times. Members’ dress standards apply to the Ted Bailey Grandstand and Sid Parker Verandah/Members Club House.

Transport

The racecourse is approximately a seven minute drive from the CBD. There are a number of transport options available to our valued patrons.

Where To Eat

There is an array of dining options at the Dining Turf Club, from a snack bar menu in the Ted Bailey Grandstand to a three-course lunch on our feature race days.
