Off the track, the Silk Laser Clinics Fashions on the Field penultimate heat sees a riot of colour, as the fashionable seek entry into the finals on Great Northern Darwin Cup Day.
On the track, local trainer Gary Clarke has had a good associated with the race, training winners Enigman (2020), Captain Punch (2019 & 2018) and Handsome Tycoon (2016). Last year’s winner Mayameen, trained by Chris Nash, went on to win the 2021 Top End Horse of the Year.
