The Darwin Turf Club has launched their search for the 2018 Ambassador to promote the 2018 Carlton Mid Darwin Cup Carnival, held Saturday 7th July to Monday 6th August 2018.
The Ambassador’s role is to raise the profile of the Northern Territory’s largest social and sporting event on a local, national and international level, by leveraging media exposure, attending networking opportunities, and liaising with sponsors, stakeholders and media partners.
“We are looking for an Ambassador who lives and breathes the Territory – a local with a keen interest in promoting the NT and the Cup Carnival to the masses, with that signature Territorian warmth you can’t find anywhere else,” said Darwin Turf Club Chief Executive Keith Stacy.
“Not only will our Ambassador be the face of the Carlton Mid Darwin Cup Carnival, they’ll also represent local businesses, showcasing our diverse and unique fashion industry, adorned by creations from Territory designers,” Mr. Stacy adds.
Applications close 5pm Wednesday 31st January 2018 and the Ambassador will be announced late February 2018.
