On the Track

The stars of the dry season are out in force to contest a day of high calibre racing, culminating in the much-anticipated feature SKY Racing Metric Mile over 1600m.

Off the Track

Sees the curtain raised for the final week of Carnival time with an inescapable buzz across Fannie Bay racecourse . Picnics will be out in force, as groups gather on the lawns to soak up the sunshine and atmosphere.

Ted Bailey Grandstand Luncheon

Enjoy birds-eye views over the winning post, race course and mounting yard in the fully air conditioned Ted Bailey Grandstand. Luncheon Includes:

  • 3 Course set menu (served at 1pm)

The Pearl Bar

A Champagne Style Garden Bar popping up over Carnival. The Pearl Bar is free to all with general admission from Hot 100 Darwin Guineas through to Darwin Corporate Park Race Day.

What to Wear

Entry to general admission areas of the race course requires guests to be neatly dressed. Footwear and a shirt must be worn at all times. Members' dress standards apply to the Ted Bailey Grandstand and Sid Parker Verandah/Members Club House.


The racecourse is approximately a 7 minute drive from the CBD. There are a number of transport options available to our valued patrons.

Where to Eat

There is an array of dining options at the Darwin Turf Club, from a 3 course luncheon in the Ted Bailey Grandstand on Race Days, to a casual bite to eat in our trackside favourite Ted's Bar.
