Airport Shuttle Bus

There is an airport shuttle bus which will drop you off or pick you up from nearly anywhere in the city. However, you must book one day in advance when travelling to the airport.

Darwin Public Bus Service

The public bus service is friendly and very reliable, for information on timetables visit their website. On Carlton Mid Darwin Cup Day, the Darwin Turf Club run a SPECIAL EVENT bus service to the track from Palmerston, Casuarina and the CBD.

Darwin Turf Club provides parking during standard race meetings & Carnival. We recommend our members and the public utilise public transport during the Carlton Mid Darwin Cup Carnival to alleviate the traffic congestion. Should you need to park your car at the track over the Carlton Mid Darwin Cup Carnival, secure overnight parking is provided thanks to MACC.

Normal Racedays

The main entrance accessible off Dick Ward Drive in Fannie Bay boasts ample parking for Members and Non Members on our normal and feature racedays.

Carlton Mid Darwin Cup Carnival

Due to the volume of cars over this period, the Darwin Turf Club makes the inside of the track (centrefield) available for public parking on Saturday 5th August bet365 Palmerston Sprint Day and Monday 7th August, Carlton Mid Darwin Cup Day. Access via Playford or Douglas Street and follow the signs to access the car park entry.

Member's Parking (Entry via Gate 2)

The carpark accessed off Dick Ward Drive is reserved for Darwin Turf Club Members only and cars not displaying the DTC Member car pass will be turned away.

General Public Drop-Off (Gate 1)

All public and taxi drop-off is accessed off Dick Ward Drive.

General Public Parking (Gate 5)

All General Public Parking is on the inside of the track (Centrefield) and is access via Playford or Douglas Streets.

The new underpass will allow easy access between Centrefield and the outside of the track for foot traffic. Cars left in centrefield overnight may be collected the following day between 9.30am - 1.00pm only.
